The project investigates how news journalism in the Scandinavian digital media landscape encounters structural changes in the technology, economy and regulation of media. Central questions include how network technologies connect the digital news world, how Facebook and other third party actors impact the digital news agenda, and how this affects newspapers’ business models.
The project is an international collaboration between researchers from the Department of Media and Social Sciences at the University of Stavanger, the IT University Copenhagen, Karlstad University and Vrije University Amsterdam.
